Like a groupie is to a band, The Makeup Show is to us beauty lovers across NYC. We’re like, makeup groupies.
For the past five years, The Makeup Show has been the industry-gathering event for beauty-lovers on the East Coast. This year drawing 70 of the beauty industry’s biggest names in cosmetics and 48 of the top makeup artists in the country, the 5th anniversary is sure to prove bigger and better than ever!
The Makeup Show New York brings together an incredible range of pro-driven brands, services and educators and is a great opportunity to learn about the newest lines and product launches, investigate makeup workshops and school programs, as well as network with artists and other industry professionals!
Some of the top brands that will be there are Becca Cosmetics, Dermalogica, DEX New York, Eve Pearl, FACE Atelier, Iredale Mineral Cosmetics, L’Oreal, MAC Cosmetics, Make Up For Ever, Mario Badescu Skin Care, Model in a Bottle, Naked Cosmetics, shu uemura, Smashbox, Temptu PRO, Three Custom Color and many more!
Some of the makeup artists who will be in attendance include James Vincent, who works with fashion magazines like Nylon and Paper, as well as owns his own makeup line, Pretty Pretty; Eve Pearl, of Eve Pearl Cosmetics, Charlie Green, one of the top makeup artists in the industry, and plenty of others!

The Makeup Show NYC will be held this Sunday, May 16, 2010 and Monday, May 17th, from 9am to 6pm both days at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W. 18th St (btwn 6th and 7th avenues), New York, NY.
Advance tickets are no longer on sale as of 5pm EST this evening, but tickets will be available for purchase upon entry both days of the event.

I will, of course!! I LOVE Butter, I actually have my nails painted with it now in…..Shandy! Love it–it’s 3-free and it’s gorgeous and smooth! Definitely one of my faves–you should try it!!
